Description: Through the Water 2025 Challenge Grant Implementation Program, Reclamation provides cost-shared funding on a competitive basis for on-the-ground construction projects that will create water markets and make more efficient use of existing water supplies. Increasing the efficiency of existing water delivery systems across the West will help prevent crises and conflicts and significantly increase future water supplies for farms, cities, people, and the environment. The objective of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to invite irrigation and water districts, United States Territories,States in the West, and other local entities with water delivery authority to leverage their money and resources by cost sharing with Reclamation on projects that create water markets and make more efficient use of existing water supplies.
