The crew will work out of the Resource Management Division. Work is 40 hours per week. Projects will be determined by the park staff. Trail brushing, and rehabilitation of any turnpikes that have eroded. The park has a trail blazing system that needs to be re-applied throughout the park. The Crew leader will lead the work projects in the field, provide written reports to summarize and document work completed with photos and the crew leader. The crew leader will work with park staff on project logistics and work with the Park Volunteer Coordinator to get additional personnel for larger projects if needed. Crew members will be taught to use a Trimble or Garmin GPS unit, if they do not have GPS skills, to further document locations of work completed. |
