Additional Information on Eligibility: Eligible applicants include states and political subdivisions of states, such as departments, agencies, municipalities, counties, and other regional or local authorities; Indian tribes and tribal organizations; and entities created under state law that have water management or water delivery authority, such as irrigation or water districts, canal companies, water users associations, rural water associations or districts, joint powers authorities, and other qualifying entities; and any combination of the entities listed above. Applicants must be located in the 17 Western States as identified in the Reclamation Act of June 17, 1902, as amended.

Description: The objective of the original grant agreement is to conduct an appraisal level investigation of a regional water distribution system to serve residents in McKinley County NM. The currently proposed action is to increase the amount of Federal funding for this existing grant agreement by $10,000.00 to a total of $210,000.000 and obligate McKinley County to provide $10,000.00 of service in kind contributions to complete the investigation. Services in-kind will consist of professional services provided by McKinley County’s contractor Daniel B. Stephens and associates.
