Description: | The main focus of this activity will be on school-based civic education for older students (grades 9 12). By expanding the availability of quality school-based civic education in Georgia, USAID will increase the skills and commitment of youth to participatory democracy. Similarly, by incorporating gender equality in civics oriented activities, the program should also have a secondary impact on students attitudes towards women and the roles of women in public engagement which over time would ideally lead towards a greater inclusion of women in political processes. |
