Description: The purpose of the proposed Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) is to strengthen Angola’s response to & control of HIV by providing financial & technical assistance & support to the Government of the Republic of Angola (GRA), National Institute to Fight HIV/AIDS (INLS). The Institute will improve HIV-related data quality; HIV-related diagnostic testing, & review national HIV-related policies. Focal areas will include the collection, analysis, management, & dissemination of quality HIV/AIDS-related data; standardized & internationally supported methods for conducting viral load (VL) & early infant diagnosis (EID) lab-based testing including appropriate documentation & electronic return of results to clinics/hospitals; & review national HIV-related policies, guidelines, standard data collection tools, & protocols specific to HIV care & treatment.
