Description: The purpose of this Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) is to strengthen Human Resources for Heatlh (HRH) in HIV care and treatment and epidemiology by providing financial and technical assistance and support to the Government of the Republic of Angola, the School of Public Health (SPH). The SPH is the coordinating body responsible for providing logistical, administrative, and educational support for post graduate education for health care professionals in public health in Angola. The SPH will coordinate training activities and workshops with other U.S. Government (USG) implementing partners to build the capacity of health care professionals to improve the care and treatment of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), related opportunistic and co-infections including tuberculosis (TB) and initiate programs to manage and provide antiretroviral therapy (ART).
