Description: The Administration on Aging (AoA) within the Administration for Community Living (ACL), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) forecasts the possible availability of Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 funds to make two-year grants to approximately four tribal entities for evidence-based falls prevention programming and infrastructure.
Grantee Goals:
Goal 1: Significantly increase the number of tribal older adults and older adults with disabilities at risk of falls in who participate in evidence-based community programs to reduce falls and falls risks; and
Goal 2: Implement innovative funding arrangements to support the evidence-based falls prevention programs beyond the end of the grant period.
