The Administration for Community Living (ACL) is offering a grant to provide technical assistance for projects expanding legal assistance for older individuals in need. | Additional Information on Eligibility: | Pursuant to Title IV, Section 420(c) of the OAA, as amended in 2006, applicants must be national nonprofit organizations experienced in providing support and technical assistance on a nationwide basis to states, area agencies on aging, legal assistance providers, ombudsmen, elder abuse prevention programs, and other organizations interested in the legal rights of older individuals. Individuals, foreign entities, and sole proprietorship organizations are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement. |

ACL plans to award two (2) cooperative agreements to organizations that will provide TA to SLHs and ACL’s Model Approaches (Phases I & II) demonstration grants. ACL plans to make awards to 2 separate organizations, with each organization assuming project responsibilities under one of the 2 funding priorities.
