Additional Information on Eligibility: | Eligible applicants are limited to national, regional, state, or local public and private entities, including for-profit (commercial) and nonprofit organizations (including tribal for-profit or nonprofit organizations), faith-based and community organizations, institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education), tribal jurisdictions, and units of local government (including federally recognized Indian tribal governments as determined by the Secretary of the Interior). For-profit organizations must agree to forgo any profit or management fee. Applicants must also have experience in delivering criminal justice training and technical assistance nationwide. BJA welcomes applications that involve two or more entities; however, one eligible entity must be the applicant and the others must be proposed as subrecipients. The applicant must be the entity with primary responsibility for conducting and leading the program. |
