Additional Information on Eligibility: | Applicants are limited to State Administrative Offices of the Court. The applicant must coordinate closely with the Court Improvement Program in the states. Although the Administrative Office of the Court is the applicant and lead agency, the state child welfare agency and state substance abuse treatment agency are required collaborating partners, and the application must include memorandums of understanding formalizing these partnerships. Iowa, Colorado, New York, Ohio, and Alabama, which have already received funding under this initiative, are not eligible to apply. |
