PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The U.S. Embassy Gaborone Small Grants Office of the U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce that funding is available through its PEPFAR Small Grants Program. This is an Annual Program Statement, outlining our funding priorities, the strategic themes we focus on, and the procedures for submitting requests for funding.  Please carefully follow all instructions below.

PEPFAR Small Grants activities must focus on:

  • Key populations: female sex workers (FSW), men who have sex with men (MSM)
  • Priority populations: Orphans and vulnerable children (OVC); adolescent girls and young women (AGYW), people living with HIV (PLHIV)

The PEPFAR Small Grants Program invites proposals for projects to support Community Based Organizations (CBOs), Faith Based Organizations (FBOs), and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that work directly with communities in promoting HIV/AIDS prevention, testing, treatment, and adherence practices.
