Description: To provide support for various trail maintenance and resource restoration projects in Kings Canyon National Park, while engaging youth in public service, training and development. Specific projects that the youth will perform include trail rehabilitation on the Pacific Crest/John Muir Trail in LeConte Canyon (assist in repairing trail structures, constructing reroutes and restoring abandoned trail segments), reconstructing trail structures in Grant Grove, assisting in annual trail opening and maintenance in Cedar Grove, Grant Grove, and Middle Fork trail districts, and front country trail improvements.
