LEAH projects develop, enhance, and improve adolescent-centered/family-involved, culturally competent, community-based care for adolescents by providing interdisciplinary leadership training of health professionals and by working with state and local health, education, youth development, and human service agencies and providers – public, private, and voluntary – with a maternal and child health focus. These training projects influence the health and health care issues of adolescents nationally. |
