Description: The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan is soliciting proposals to manage and operate the Kabul Educational Advising Center (KEAC) with centers located in Kabul, Herat, and Mazar-e Sharif, Afghanistan, from/about October 1, 2015 to/about October 1, 2017. PAS intends to issue an award for a period of 24 months (base period) with an option for an additional 12 month period (option year one).
The recipient of this award will continue operations of the three educational advising center locations to provide advising and training to students who wish to pursue further study opportunities in the United States, and to provide career mentoring and job-searching skills for those students prior to and upon their return to Afghanistan. The center will be managed jointly by the recipient and the Embassy’s Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer. In addition to educational advising and test preparation courses, the recipient of this award will provide testing services and provide certified Education USA advisors to conduct advising activities.
