Additional Information on Eligibility: | Eligibility for the program listed in this NOFO is open to all domestic non-Federal entities. Eligible applicants include accredited U.S. institutions of higher education; non-profit organizations incorporated in the United States; for-profit organizations incorporated in the United States; and state, local, territorial and Indian tribal governments within the United States. An eligible organization may work individually or include proposed subrecipients, contractors or unfunded collaborators. Please note that, for the purposes of this NOFO, individuals and unincorporated sole proprietors are not considered “non-Federal entities” and are not eligible to apply. |

ThisNOFO is being re-opened as a result of the recent lapse of appropriations forthe United States Department of Commerce. Entities that submitted applicationsprior to the original submission deadline do not need to take any additionalaction. All applications received prior to the original submission deadlinewill be reviewed in accordance with the process described in Section V.3. of thisNOFO. However, entities that submitted an application prior to the originalsubmission deadline have the option to submit an updated application, providedthat it is received at Grants.gov prior to the new application deadline, statedbelow. If NIST receives more than one application from an applicant entity,NIST will review only the last-in-time submission. No other changes have beenmade to this NOFO. NIST invites applications from eligible applicants forthe development, production and distribution of science and/or mathematics curricularesources for high school classrooms that reflect the redefinition of unitswithin the international system of measurement (also called the metric system). |
