The National Park Service is offering a grant to conduct a study on northern long-eared bats and Indiana bats in Great Smoky Mountains National Park to assess the impacts of White-nose syndrome. The research will focus on their distribution, population status, roosting ecology, and acoustic surveys to better understand the effects of WNS on their populations. The results will contribute to the development of an Indiana bat species action plan. Closing date: May 04, 2015.
