Version History

Version Modification Description Updated Date
The purpose of this amendment is to expand upon the involvement required for the proposed cooperative agreements: SECTION I-Funding Opportunity Description, Paragraph 2, Subsection b is added and reads as follows:

b. DoD’s programmatic involvement in these cooperative agreements may, in the areas of DoD interest covered by this BAA, result in investigators being (1) provided access to controlled information, DoD facilities, or other DoD resources, or (2) directly involved in DoD activities, such as participation in expert panels, work groups or evaluation efforts. These activities will be complementary to the basic research and therefore will not by themselves alter the fundamental research nature of the work or provide the basis for restrictions on publication and/or dissemination of the results. [see “Fundamental Research,” May 24, 2010,
