USAID is requesting information, feedback, and recommendations from organizations to tackle the issues of illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing affecting coastal fisheries in the Pacific region. The aim is to address the drivers behind IUU fishing that are leading to the degradation of coastal fisheries, biodiversity loss, and impacting local livelihoods and maritime security. Interested parties such as US or non-US organizations, NGOs, universities, consortia, and for-profit organizations are encouraged to participate. The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2020.
