Additional Information on Eligibility: The United States Department of the Interior, The National Park Service (NPS), Blue Ridge Parkway, is announcing a notice of intent to award to award a cooperative agreement; this is not a request for applications. This funding opportunity is to provide public notice of NPS’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition, under Cooperative Agreement P15AC00015 with American Conservation Experience, for a project titled; Exotic Plant Management Team Engaging Youth in Resource Management.

Description: This project will provide opportunities for interns to engage in natural resource management decisions and implementation through critical analysis and adaptive management strategies. Intern will be engaged in the assessment of threats to natural and cultural resources posed by non-native species threatening the integrity of such resources. Interns will be provided all necessary training and resources and fully engaged in the decision-making process to best determine efficient and effective management strategies.
