In addition, SNWRC staff will work with the recipient and the local school district to develop and maintain a Monarch Butterfly Wildflower Pollinator Garden on a Refuge Unit. The recipient of the funding will provide assistance to Refuge staff in site preparation, restoration design, weed control, seed propagation, native plant seed drilling, and hands on environmental education for local students.
