U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Grant: Lead Exposure Reduction in Drinking Water

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is soliciting applications from eligible applicants as described in Section III.A to reduce lead in drinking water in disadvantaged communities through infrastructure and/or treatment improvements or facility remediation in schools and child care facilities. The goal of these projects is to address conditions that contribute to increased concentrations of lead in drinking water. The lead reduction projects should proceed to implementation upon award. The proposed projects support the Agency’s Strategic Plan for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 – 2022, Goal 1: A Cleaner, Healthier Environment: Deliver a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for all Americans and future generations by carrying out the Agency’s core mission, Objective 1.2: Provide for Clean and Safe Water.
