Description: The International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Section of the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia is pleased to announce an open competition for the administration, registration and evaluation support to the Fifth Annual Regional “Women In Policing” Conference (WIP). Intergovernmental Organizations, International, other non-profit organizations or U.S. non-profit/non-governmental organizations operating in Georgia may submit proposals to manage the four (4) day annual training conference entitled Women In Policing, which provides advanced/specialized training and professional development assistance in law enforcement topics for female police personnel from multiple countries. The purpose of the conference is to provide advanced and specialized training for female police officers, whose needs are usually overlooked in the traditionally male dominated law enforcement profession, and to provide them with skill sets that will help ensure equal opportunity for professional growth and development in their careers.
