Category Explanation: This is NOT a request for applications; this is an announcement that an award has already been designated for CCRTA for their work on the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority Bike Shuttle Project. As such, CCRTA will:
1. Work collaboratively with CACO in a similar nature to existing joint efforts to improve and expand choices, mobility options, and opportunities for public transit on the Outer/Lower Cape.
2. Provide daily operation, maintenance, and marketing of the Outer Cape Bike Shuttle.
3. Perform grant management.
4. Provide detailed spending plan for approval to NPS.
5. Submit invoices in a timely manner.
6. Provide trained staff to manage the contract and associated requirements.
7. Submit ridership documentation and reviews obtained from contractor.
8. Assist in development and placement of marketing materials.
9. Continue to assist with the planning and evaluation of alternative transportation strategies and systems for the Outer/Lower Cape via quarterly updates.
10. Be responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of the shuttle during the operation period.
