Agency Name: Fish and Wildlife Service
Description: This is a notice of intent to award a single source cooperative agreement to Ducks Unlimited (DU) without competition under justification 505DM 2.14 B (1). Competition for the award is not practical, as DU is familiar with this tract and is qualified to perform the activity based on technical expertise and unique knowledge of wetland and upland restoration to achieve specific habitat goals. Ducks Unlimited will use the NRDA settlement funds to restore wetland and upland habitat within Fond Du Lac County, on the Rosendale WPA. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) will be substantially involved in projects under this funding opportunity. In particular, the Service will be/expects to be responsible for the following: The Service will collaborate with DU to review, design, and implement the project until completion. The Service has the ability to review and approve one stage of work before the next can begin. The Service has the power to immediately halt an activity if detailed performance specification are not met.
