Additional Information on Eligibility: This announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award financial assistance for the following project activities.

Description:

This announcement is to provide public notice of the NPS’s intentions to award financial assistance for the following project activities without competition to University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and member of the Great Lakes Northern Forest Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit. Study performed with sampling sites to include barrens, accessible wetlands, beaches, and other habitats including burned and planned burns sites. Specimens will be collected by netting and bee bowls. Non-lethal methods will be used for rare species and species that are identifiable in the field. Recommendations for habitat improvement will be provided. A final report will be provided that includes analysis of data, species lists, assessment of possible changes in the pollinator community over time and management recommendations for habitat improvement.
