| Description: | A. Project Goals â¿¿
Removal of exotic vegetation at desert springs will improve the condition of many highly visible and ecologically important riparian resources in Death Valley. The project work will benefit the natural ecology of desert spring environments by promoting the establishment and growth of native vegetation, enhancing wildlife habitats, and improving and enhancing visitor enjoyment of these resources and for the future generations. B. Project Objectives â¿¿ The primary objective of this Task Agreement project is to provide youth and young adults conservation corps crews with the opportunity to assist Resources Management and Death Valley NP in the restoration of riparian ecosystems by removing and controlling exotic and non-native vegetation that occur in and near these habitats. |
