Description: The Lewis and Clark National Historic trail is working to increase education and public awareness of the Lewis and Clark story. Working in collaboration with the Lewis and Clark Trust to support education and programs that teach others about the comprehensive story of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

The Lewis and Clark Trust is the only established friends group of the Lewis and Clark NHT. The Lewis and Clark Trust has the selective knowledge and existing partnerships that focuses on educating teachers through teacher seminars. The Lewis and Clark NHT and the Lewis and Clark Trust have aligned missions.

The National Park Service will provide technical assistance and give informational presentations to a group of educators and inform them about the Honoring Tribal Legacies projects that Lewis and Clark NHT is working to integrate into educational curriculum. The National Park Service will also review training standards, review proposed work, participate in training and educational programs, assist and provide assistance on educational areas.
