Description: Develop Seed and Nursery Plant Stock for NPS and Los Angeles Area Revegetation Projects. This is not a request for applications. This is a Notice of Intent to Award this program under a current Cooperative Agreement with North East Trees. This is an anticipated three-year financial assistance project working with North East Trees, a non-profit youth service organization, to develop a source of local plant materials for native plant revegetation and community restoration along the upper Los Angeles River and in the northeast Los Angeles area. This project will provide opportunities for youth service learning and create protocols and develop an organizational structure to support future youth service learning projects. It is part of the NPS mission to reach out to and involve residents of urban Los Angeles in conservation within and around the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area
