Description: Notice of Intent to award a cooperative agreement to the Minnesota Geological Survey, under the University of Minnesota, to support their project entitled “Quaternary Geological Map of Southern Minnesota at 1:500,000”. The main objective of this is a new state Quaternary map constructed for the first time on a lithostratigraphic basis that will improve and accelerate Atlas production by clarifying context and by further resolving stratigraphic issues.
