Description: BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES
Master Cooperative Agreement Number P16AC01706 was entered into by and between the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, (NPS), and Kiowa County, Colorado (hereafter referred to as â¿¿Recipientâ¿¿) for the purpose of providing: fulfillment of the mission and development of the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site and the economic development of Kiowa County through the development of park support facilities within the county.

STATEMENT OF WORK
This project will provide visitor services for the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site and contribute to the economic vitality of a small community in a rural, agricultural area of the state. This will be accomplished through the development of NPS support facilities.

RECIPIENT AGREES TO:
Provide construction services for the NPS tenant finishes to the Murdock Building. Provide design and construction drawings for NPS tenant finishes to the historic ⿿Murdock Building⿝, including those necessary for this task. Provide expertise to ensure NPS legal requirements and standards are met.

NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AGREES TO:
Ensure that NPS-funded improvements to the historic Murdock Building meet the Secretary of the Interiorâ¿¿s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
