Description: Replace trail markers, repair trail tread, replace/repair water bars, remove tripping hazards such as stumps, rocks, etc., repair fence as needed.  This project will enhance trails and directions to benefit the public and provide safe trails as they explore the parks backcountry trial system. Conservation crew members will receive resource education concerning but not limited to the following: cave/karst conservation, wildlife conservation, and protection and preservation of natural and cultural resources. They will also gain and understanding of how preservation work efforts now protect resources for future generations.  This project will replace 30 deteriorated wood trail marker posts along the 2.7 mile long Boland Bridge Trail to enhance the experience of visitors utilizing the trail. Trees, brush, and other vegetation encroaching on the trail will be removed by trimming, mowing and pruning. Non-native vegetation such as Canadian thistle will be treated by pulling and mowing. A trail counter will also be installed. Work will be accomplished with a conservation crew.
