The purpose of this project is to provide geologic mapping, it will be conducted at Vicksburg National Military Park (VICK) and Natchez Trace Parkway (NATR) as a portion of the National Park Service Geologic Resources Inventory. The project will provide support for a Masters Thesis that will include a new map of VICK and to support work in compiling or conducting new mapping in the first phase of a new map on the Natchez Trace.
