Description: Notice of Intent to award a cooperative agreement to the Michigan Geological Survey, under the auspices of Western Michigan University in support of their project entitled “Surficial Geologic Mapping Cass County, Michigan; Marcellus and Decatur 7.5 Minute Quads and continue Barry and Calhoun County composite map project”. The main objective of the project is to map the surficial geology of the Marcellus and Decatur 7.5 minute quadrangles in Cass County and to continue work on composite surficial geology maps of Calhoun and Barry Counties.
