This information will be used to determine whether or not aquatic and riparian resource conditions are meeting management objectives. The project will test a sample design that allows information derived from data collected to be extrapolated over the entire grazing allotment while continuing targeted evaluations on known areas of concern. A phased multi-year implementation approach is proposed that will permit testing of sample design, any proposed stratifications, indicator measurement protocols, access considerations including potential season restrictions, and training/skill needs of field-going personnel. |
