Description: | This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is a single eligibility opportunity for a faith-based organization (FBO) that directly supports delivery of HIV/AIDS services as well as pre-service training of nurses and other critical cadres of health workers in Malawi. The awardee will provide supervision and oversight at clinical sites managed by faith-based organizations to ensure quality of services and will promote quality improvement activities at those sites. The awardee will also specifically support scale-up of voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) services through training of VMMC providers, renovation of facilities, provision of equipment and novel reimbursement models.
The awardee will support the training of healthcare workers through direct assistance to training institutions, provision of bursary support to students, and through the review and revision of policies related to the provision of scholarships and the bonding of trainees to public service after graduation. |
