Description:

The primary objective of the Seboeis Unit vegetation mapping project is to develop a spatially referenced vegetation geodatabase, supported with ecological and vegetation data, for use in geographic information systems (GIS) that is compliant with National Park Service (NPS) requirements to support the management of Monument natural resources in the Seboeis Unit. The project will provide an inventory of vegetation types within the Seboeis Unit, presenting descriptive botanical and ecological information that can be referenced to locations using the vegetation geodatabase.
