Applicants must have the relevant subject matter expertise, extensive experience in developing and providing training and technical assistance for a variety of disciplines (e.g. judges, prosecutors, public defenders, defense counsel, probation and parole officers, law enforcement officers, law enforcement executives, court administrators, and treatment providers), and the ability to engage experts in each of these fields to inform the training and technical assistance. Applicants and are encouraged to collaborate with other entities and organizations to develop an effective and innovative training and technical assistance program. The overall program should include training and technical assistance for state, local, tribal, and rural jurisdictions. |
