Description:

The purpose of this FOA is to build a functional laboratory network to support the PEPFAR program in its efforts to reach 80% saturation for care and treatment in selected districts by offering quality laboratory services and HIV testing through certification of about 2,000 testing sites, reduction of stock outs to less than 2%, and extensive coaching to staff of key laboratories that provide 80% of laboratory services in Cote d’Ivoire. This FOA will also target 3 blood bank laboratories to ensure quality of blood and blood products and work towards the accreditation of these laboratories.

This amendment is for informational purposes only. CDC is not accepting new applications for award. The purpose of this amendment is to include language regarding HIV epidemic control under d. Other National Public Health Priorities and Strategies.
