Description: The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to strengthen the national and regional HIV/AIDS continuing medical education (CME) and laboratory management systems for sustainable HIV epidemic control. Specifically, this FOA will enhance the institutionalization of HIV-focused face-to-face and online in-service training/CME; build the capacity of Ethiopian health professional associations; and enhance medical laboratory research, policy, accreditation, and quality improvement. The FOA will strengthen the contribution of health professional associations to ensure quality HIV care and support national efforts to achieve epidemic control of HIV. The in-service/CME and laboratory system strengthening activities will adhere to the national policy and guidelines endorsed by the Federal Ministry of Health and Ethiopian Public Health Institute.
