Description: This NOFO will support coordination and implementation of US Government (USG)-funded health activities through the Tanzania Commission for AIDS (TACAIDS). TACAIDS has the mandate to provide strategic leadership and coordination of the national multi-sectoral HIV/AIDS response in Tanzania to ensure that HIV policies are quickly implemented by the appropriate sectors and actors which will result in HIV epidemic control. This announcement aims to establish and promote local leadership and ownership in overseeing evidence-based interventions and focused expansion of quality HIV/AIDS services in the United Republic of Tanzania (URT) to attain HIV epidemic control. Coordination and dissemination of HIV/AIDS policies are critical areas of focus that require key stakeholders to discuss critical steps and agree on adaptation of new HIV policies. This announcement seeks to engage with TACAIDS for improved multi-sector coordination and ensure HIV policies are adapted and translated to the national HIV and AIDS guidelines to reach HIV epidemic control.
