This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service (NPS)
intention to fund a Task Agreement against an existing Master Agreement.

Description: OVERVIEW, RECIPIENT AND NPS SUBSTANTIAL INVOLVEMENT
Intern will assist staff with the NPS Heartland Network with a variety of task associated with terrestrial vital signs monitoring including deer spot light studies, plant population monitoring, and bird and vegetation community monitoring. American Conservation Association (ACE) was chosen due to their ability to recruit specialized experience, and their ability to accommodate a year-long including housing and travel. NPS will work with ACE to recruit and select the intern, provide day to day guidance, and arrange for professional development opportunities.

The Recipient is a Youth Master Agreement Recipient who was awarded a Master Cooperative Agreement (P15AC00015) allowing American Conservation Experience to participate in specific tasks, and can provide the necessary activities involved in this particular task while providing an effective outcome for NPS and the objectives of this research/educational project.
