Additional Information on Eligibility: The United States Department of Interior, National Park Service is announcing a notice of intent to award; this is not a request for applications. This funding opportunity is to provide public notice of NPS’s intention to fund the following project without full and open competition under Cooperative Agreement P16AC00003 with Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a partner under the Pacific Northwest Cooperative Ecosystems Studies Unit.

Description: The project objective is for the National Park Service (NPS) and Saint Mary’s Univerisity of Minnesota (SMUMN) investigators to collaborate in conducting a Natural Resource Condition Assessment (NRCA) for Cumberland Island National Seashore (CUIS) and Cape Hatteras National Seashore (CAHA). These NRCAs are focused on a subset of important park natural resources and resource management topics. SMUMN and NPS will collaborate to evaluate and report on current conditions, critical data and knowledge gaps, and describe resource threats and stressors of concern.
