Description:

The core work of this cooperative agreement centers around NIC’s Learning and Performance Initiative (LPI). This initiative includes a face-to-face professional development curriculum, The Learning Professional, which targets the preparation and delivery of established ILT and VILT curriculum. Within this initiative, the Learning Professional curriculum has been targeted for conversion into a VILT and development of a VILT T4T. This curriculum includes a learners guide, facilitators guide, participant and facilitator handouts and applicable PowerPoint slide shows. (see the Glossary of Project Terms for detail on these descriptors.) The content for the courses does not require revision other than correcting any grammatical or minor errors; it is the design, layout and virtual facilitation detail for each content and activity module for this course that will be addressed in this project.

This curriculum will be audited with NIC’s Course Design Audit Checklist which is attached to this solicitation as an appendix. In addition to design/conversion of the face-to-face to VILT, a new Training for Trainer (T4T) version of this course will need to be designed and built for virtual delivery to include a learners’ guide, facilitator’s guide, participant and facilitator handouts, and all necessary PowerPoint slide shows. In total, the two (2) courses, The Learning Professional and Learning Professional T4T represent approximately 80 instructional hours.
