The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a Notice of Intent to Award a grant to the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). This grant supports the development of landscape-scale conservation planning products for golden eagles in the western U.S. UNR scientists will create ecoregional conservation assessments and management strategies by compiling and analyzing relevant information. Additional Information on Eligibility: | The Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Units Network: consists of colleges and universities, including but not limited to Land Grant schools, nongovernmental conservation organizations, state and local governments, and federally recognized American Indian tribal governments, in partnership with Federal natural resource and scientific agencies. State and local governments, federally recognized American Indian tribal governments, public/private nonprofit organizations, nonprofit institutions of higher education, and individuals. Applicant entity must have expertise in the contemplated scientific research, technical assistance, information dissemination, and educational functions within the context of cultural, social, biological, and physical sciences as applicable to resource management.
