Description: | Call Opportunity No. R001 “XCEL Program” – SSC Pacific, on behalf of Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and in accordance with Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) N66001-12-X-2002, is soliciting White Papers and Full Proposals for proof-of-concept research to develop an in vitro platform of human organ constructs that could recapitulate the human response to threat agents and accurately predict human safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics of candidate Medical Countermeasures (MCMs) (i.e., therapeutics and pharmaceuticals).Upon navigating to the Announcement URL, please download document “Call No. R001 – XCEL Program” for specific requirements and deadlines that apply to the submission of White Papers and Full Proposals in response to Call No. R001.************************************************Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific), on behalf of Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), is soliciting proposals in accordance with Department of Defense Grant and Agreement Regulations (DoDGARS) 22.315(a) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 35.016, for basic research, applied research and advanced research in areas relating to the advancement of technology to meet DoD requirements for chemical, biological, and pandemic disease defense.Proposed research should investigate unique and innovative approaches for:-rapid detection and diagnosis of chemical and biological threats (to include chemical, viral, bacterial, and protozoan);-dissemination of information to local, state, and federal authorities for action; and-defining and developing next generation capabilities in chemical, biological and pandemic disease defense.Documents pertaining to this BAA are available at https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil/ |
