Additional Information

Agency Name: Office of Global Womens Issues
Description: S/GWI announces a Request for Statements of Interest (RSOI) outlining concepts and capacity to design, implement, manage, and evaluate a project to create and foster a supportive community for primarily secondary school-age youth, roughly between the ages of 13-19 years, with an objective of mitigating systemic barriers that limit the full economic and social participation of girls in all their diversity. Through these communities, these key populations will have access to more safe, equitable, and inclusive opportunities, with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and eventual careers. With this support and increased access, secondary school-age youth will be well-positioned to challenge harmful gender norms and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
This project is the successor to S/GWI’s existing successful SHE’s GREAT project.
