The Department of Education’s National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) is offering the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) National Network Collaborative Research Project Grant. This grant aims to fund Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects (DRRPs) to enhance the effectiveness of services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The primary goal is to develop methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technologies that significantly advance independent living, employment outcomes, and societal inclusion for individuals with disabilities, particularly those with the most severe disabilities. Projects should include research, training, demonstration, and dissemination activities. A key requirement for applicants is to demonstrate how their proposed work will address the needs of individuals with disabilities from minority backgrounds. This initiative seeks to maximize the full inclusion and self-sufficiency of people with disabilities.
