Description: This Funding Opportunity Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Reclamation’s intent to fund the following project without full and open competition. It is Reclamation’s intent to enter into a cooperative agreement with the University of Idaho (U of I) whereby the U of I will collect and analyze data related to fisheries and stream flows in the Lapwai Basin, Idaho, to improve the understanding of the Lewiston Orchards Project on ESA-listed steelhead. The project is a continuation of studies conducted at the University of Idaho beginning in 2007. These data specifically will address steelhead production as growth, survival and abundance as related to stream flow, temperature and other habitat attributes in the basin, and will address the critical uncertainties identified by the National Marine Fisheries Service.
