The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) offers this grant to enhance its Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program. This grant is for ensuring all abused and neglected children receive timely, sensitive, and effective advocacy in dependency proceedings, as mandated by the Victims of Child Abuse Act. The CASA Program ensures high-quality representation for these children in court. The successful applicant will provide information, technical assistance, and training to volunteer advocates representing abused and neglected children. Support will also extend to other child welfare stakeholders at local, state, regional, and national levels, strengthening child advocacy across the U.S.
