The U.S. Geological Survey¿s (USGS) Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center is offering a cooperative-agreement opportunity to a CESU for research on demographic consequences to golden eagles killed by renewable energy and other stressors in Wyoming and having the capability to conduct and demonstrated experience conducting and publishing results from stable isotope analysis of tissue from golden eagle fatalities in general and from renewable energy facilities. Through this CESU agreement, the federal and state university partners will cooperate fully in development of a research program that will produce final products to be used in support of golden eagle management in the western USA. The cooperation of the USGS and its CESU partner brings a combination of expertise to address this objective that is greater than that possessed by either partner on its own.
